Police charged Lorenzo Ceasar (25 years, TCI) for Robbery that occurred at Sea-View Provo Business, Rock Plaza, Blue Hills Road. He is to appear in Court on 31 August 2010.

Providenciales, Five Cays Road, Faltinto's Store
Police responded to a Robbery where a male masked gunman took a quantity of cash and tried to car-jack a vehicle from its owner outside the store. The robber discharged his firearm several times but was shot during the incident by a licensed Firearm Holder. The robber sustained multiple gun shot wounds and is presently in hospital.

Law Enforcement officers have been conducting an operation called "ALPHA ONE" since Wednesday, 4 August 2010. It has resulted in the apprehension of 177 irregular immigrants (114 male Haitians, 47 female Haitians, 7 male Dominicans, 8 female Dominicans and 1 male Jamaican) to date. They will be processed then repatriated.

Roxanne Lockhart, Jo'ram Rigby, Lorenzo Caesar, Franklyn Saintelmon and Dorlens Zamor who were all charged for Robbery of Jais Jewelry store on 10 July 2010. They appeared in Court where they were released on bail with a surety and conditions to return on 13 August 2010.
Police charged Jose Luis Gomez (36 years, Dominican Republic) for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply. He was released on Police bail with a surety to appear in Court on 27 July 2010 to answer to the charges.

Danny Been was arrested without incident in connection with a shooting incident in The Bight on 29 June 2010. During his arrest he had a quantity of suspected cannabis in his possession and was charged for Possession of Cannabis. He will appear in Court on 28 July 2010 to answer to that charge.

Police continue their investigations into the Robbery at Jais Jewelry store on 10 July 2010, Wilkie Arthur was charged for Robbery and remanded in custody until 26 July 2010. Jo'ram Rigby was charged for Robbery and is due to appear in Court on 21 July 2010. Police will charge two other males and a female for Robbery.
A .22 revolver, clothing worn by the suspects and two vehicles used during this Robbery (a gold coloured Acura car and a black Mercury mariner SUV) have been recovered. 15 Rolex watches, total value US$193,966.00, were stolen.

Law Enforcement Officers conducted operations at 2005 Night Club, Five Cays Road, Cameo's Night Club, Airport Road and Pumpy's Bar, Five Cays. One female Dominican was arrested for Assault on Police, one female Dominican was arrested on suspicion of Prostitution, four female and two male Dominicans were detained for Immigration purposes.
Two male TCIs are in custody assisting Police to investigate an afternoon robbery at Jais, Grace Bay. Three masked men, two with guns and one with a cutlass, assisted by a female, stole some Rolex wrist watches.

Police responded to a 911 report of an Attempted Burglary at r and R Town Homes. Two suspects were held by employees but escaped. One of the suspects ran across the road and was struck by a white Toyota Corolla car which did not stop. This suspect received head injuries and was taken to hospital.

Police charged Kathlin Cox (28 years, TCI) for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, a flare gun, Obstruction and Resisting Arrest. Cox appeared in Court where he plead Not Guilty and was remanded in custody at the Prison until trial on 13 July 2010.

Police arrested Michael Williams (41 years, TCI) and Harold Arthur (50 years, TCI) for Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Possession of Explosives (Ammunition) after stopping a vehicle driven by Williams. During the search a black INTROTEC Tec 22 automatic short-arm firearm containing 8 rounds of .22 ammunition was found. They will appear in Court on 29 June 2010.

Turks & Caicos Islands Territorial Waters
Members of the Marine Section of Royal Turks & Caicos Islands Police Force and Police Aircraft personnel intercepted a sloop 3 nautical miles southeast of French Cay. The illegal sloop was towed to South Dock, Providenciales, where 85 illegal Haitians ( 67 males and 18 females) were handed over to S.P.I.C.E to process and repatriate.

Police stopped and searched a vehicle on Leeward Highway. During the search of the vehicle a black 9 mm Beretta pistol along with eight rounds of 9 mm ammunition was found. A male TCI and a male Haitian national were arrested for Possession of Firearm and Possession of Explosives.

Police responded to a report of a robbery where two employees of Turks & Caicos Islands Lotto were robbed of a quantity cash at gun point. No one was injured. Lamont Robinson (24 years, TCI) was also charged for Burglary, two counts of Attempted Burglary, Handling Stolen Goods, Been Carried in a Conveyance Taken Without Consent and Resisting Arrest. Those charges related to reported crimes earlier that morning. They appeared in Court on 26 Mar. 2010 and were remanded in custody at HM Prison Grand Turk until 23 April 2010.

Police captured Chabo Capron without incident in a house in Capron was wanted in connection with a number of Serious Criminal Offenses including Attempted Murder. During a search of the house Police found a quantity of ammunition. Capron was arrested and charged for Possession of Explosives (Ammunition) and appeared in Court on 23 Feb. 2010, where he pleaded guilty to Possession of Explosives and was sentenced to 12 months at HM Prison in Grand Turk. Capron was not required to plea on a charge of Attempted Murder in connection with a shooting incident in Kew Town, Providenciales, on 17 Jan. 2010. He was remanded in custody until 22 Mar. 2010.

Police executed a search warrant for illegal drugs on the home of Rashawn Astwood and suspected cannabis was found with a quantity of cash. The suspected cannabis weighed 635 grams. On 13 Feb. 2010, Rashawn Astwood was charged for Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply and released on Police Bail of $2,500.00 with a surety for his appearance in Court on 22 Feb. 2010.

Police conducted a stop and search for illegal drugs and firearms on a black GMC Sonoma truck #08638 driven by Bruce Harvey (40 years, Bahamian) and Hayward McIntosh Jr. (23 years, TCI). A black Bryra arm .380 pistol and two rounds of ammunition were found. Both were arrested and charged for Posssession of Unlicensed Firearm and Possession of Explosives.
